Order of the Ministry of Health No. 620 of December 1996.
An abortion may be performed on request up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. Up to 16 weeks of pregnancy it may be performed in cases of pregnancy resulting from rape or another sexual crime. Up to 24 weeks of pregnancy it may be performed in the following cases:
- risk to life
- risk to physical health
- risk to mental health
- risk of fetal deformation
Parental consent is required for minors under the age of 16.
